Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu on Saturday addressed grievances from the public at the TDP central office in Mangalagiri, prioritising their resolution. A significant number of complaints were directed at the revenue department.
Many attendees appealed to the Chief Minister to intervene in illegal cases filed against them by the previous government. Others sought help in reclaiming lands allegedly seized by YSRCP leaders over the past five years.
Several people donated funds for the construction of Amaravati and the reopening of Anna Canteens. Notably, an elderly woman from Vijayawada, Manikyamma, donated her gold bangles for the rebuilding of Amaravati. With a large crowd from across the state, Chandrababu Naidu spent over three hours meeting with people and receiving their appeals.
Villagers from Bonthu and Mahasingi in Saravakota mandal, Srikakulam district, complained about 47 acres of their land being forcibly occupied by YSRCP leaders from Bonthu village.
They appealed to the Chief Minister for action to reclaim their land. Machineni Mohan Rao of Nagiripadu village in Chitvelu mandal, Annamayya district, reported that YSRCP leader Kiran had filed illegal police cases against him for refusing to sell his land at the offered price.
Donations for building Amaravati and reopening Anna Canteens were also received. N Prabhakar Rao, a farmer from Kankipadu, donated Rs 10 lakh, while GV Manikayamma from Vijayawada donated her gold bangles. Nirmala from the Bhagavad Gita group donated Rs 3.42 lakh, a differently-abled person from Perumalla, Chandragiri Assembly segment, donated Rs 25,000, and Valleru Venkatesh Naidu from Chittoor donated Rs 1 lakh. Additionally, Parchuri Rajababiah and Kamala Kumari from Ayyappanagar in Vijayawada donated Rs 2 lakh for Anna Canteens.
Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu expressed profound gratitude for the generous donations supporting these noble causes.
