CM directs officials to tackle the issues with an iron hand

Directing officials that he does not want to hear the word ‘land grabbing’ in Telangana, Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy ordered officials to tackle land grabbers with an iron hand.
He made it clear that the Congress government will not tolerate the corrupt and land grabbers under any circumstance. The Chief Minister said that the Congress government
is giving full powers to the police to uphold the law. Addressing the meeting of collectors, CPs and SPs held on Sunday at the Secretariat, the Chief Minister directed SPs to act strongly against land grabbers. He made it clear that the Congress government will not tolerate the corrupt and land grabbers under any circumstance. The Chief Minister said that the Congress government is giving full powers to the police to uphold the law.

The Chief Minister asked the police to keep an eye on ‘Book My Show’ and ‘Sunburn’ organizers and bring facts out. He said that Maharashtra and Karnataka had
banned the events of Sunburn. He asked officials not to let go of anyone behind it.
The Chief Minister asked the police to act toughly with Ganja peddlers as it had reached colleges and schools and asked officials to make Hyderabad drug-free.
He directed the police to tackle drug smuggling with an iron hand and expressed concern over drug usage by youth during New Year parties.
The Chief Minister said that spurious seeds are more dangerous than terrorism and officials will have to deal strongly with the suppliers of spurious seeds.
