Chief Minister Revanth Reddy met with eminent economist and former Planning Commission Vice President, Montek Singh Ahluwalia, at the Secretariat on Saturday.
Along with Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka, the CM discussed the economic status of the Central and state governments, the massive increase in debt in the last decade and its impact, the economic reforms adopted in the country during Congress rule and various other issues.
Montek Singh Ahluwalia played a key role when India launched its economic reforms in the early 1990s. He quit his Planning Commission post in May 2014 after the UPA lost the LS polls.
