TPCC President Revanth Reddy said that Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao has been encouraging ‘defections’ at a time when people are suffering due to floods.
He appealed to Union Tourism Minister G. Kishan Reddy to respond to the floods and ensure that the Centre gives flood relief funds to the state immediately.
Participating in a zoom meeting with senior TPCC leaders including the AICC General Secretary in-charge Manikrao Thakre, CLP leader Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, TPCC Campaign Committee Chairman Madhu Yashki Goud, TPCC PEC members and others, Revanth said that they are setting up a control room in Hyderabad to rehabilitate flood affected people.
He asked Congress leaders to help people stuck in floods. He said that they had postponed Priyanka Gandhi’s public meeting due to the floods.
He said that KTR has been away since his birthday and is celebrating.
He said that he had given a call to lay a siege on the GHMC office on Friday demanding that the government give Rs 10,000 to all daily wage labourers and other poor people.
