CM felicitates Kannayya Naidu

Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu felicitated irrigation expert Kannayya Naidu at the State secretariat on Wednesday, presenting him with a shawl and a memento.
The 19th gate of the Tungabhadra Reservoir was recently washed away due to floods. After learning about the matter, the CM called Kannayya Naidu and asked him to address the problem. Naidu, who worked hard to defuse the situation, successfully installed a stop log gate with the cooperation of the AP and Karnataka officials at a time when the flood flow was fierce. With this, about 30 TMC of water was prevented from getting wasted.
Chandrababu thanked Kannayya Naidu on behalf of the farmers of the State.
Water Resources Minister Nimmala Ramanaidu and others were present on the occasion.
