Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is scheduled to visit the Visakhapatnam and Anakapalli districts on Monday (October 16), where he will participate in the inauguration of various projects.

In Visakhapatnam, CM YS Jagan will commence his visit by touring the Infosys Development Centre located at Madhurawada IT Hill No 2.  He will inaugurate a newly established development centre by Infosys, which has been established with an initial investment of Rs 35 crore and is expected to see further expansion in the future. The centre primarily functions as a software development hub and boasts a modern interior design aimed at accommodating evolving workplace needs.

Approximately 1,000 employees will be based at this facility, which has been constructed in compliance with green building standards. It is equipped with state-of-the-art amenities, including spacious audio and video conference halls, a contemporary cafeteria, and ample parking facilities.

In Anakapalli district, CM Jagan will pay a visit to Eugia Steriles Private Limited, situated in Paravada Pharmacy. He will inaugurate a pharmaceutical and biotech products unit constructed at a cost of Rs 300.78 crores, a development that is anticipated to generate direct employment opportunities for 800 individuals.

Then, CM Jagan will proceed to inaugurate the Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (API) products unit established by Laurus Synthesis Labs Private Limited in Atchutapuram. This unit, which comes at a cost of Rs 421.70 crore, is set to provide direct employment to 600 people. Furthermore, the Chief Minister will inaugurate the Unit 2 Formulation Block, an additional building complex at Laurus Labs in Atchutapuram APSEZ. A ‘Bhoomi Puja’ ceremony will also mark the commencement of a new industry by Laurus Labs.
