Advisor to the Government of AP (Public Affairs) Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy has said that Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy believes that a politician is a person who is always with the people. The manifesto was prepared by the party after observing the hardships of the people witnessed during his ‘padayatra’.
Speaking at a function organised to celebrate four years of Jagan Mohan Reddy’s ‘Praja Sankalpa Yatra’ at the YSRCP’s central office here on Monday, he said on assuming office, the Chief Minister fulfilled 98 per cent of his promises in the manifesto and stood by the people in every possible way, even during the pandemic crisis.
The Chief Minister initiated the ‘Gadapa Gadapaku Prabhuthvam’ programme as he was confident of what he had done for people’s welfare.
Brushing aside the propaganda of Opposition parties on early polls in the State, he said that it is a conspiracy of TDP and its friendly media.
Elections will be held as scheduled in 2024, he asserted.
Usually, the ruling party leaders will aspire for early polls and give hints accordingly, but the Opposition parties have taken the responsibility on their shoulders by carrying out propaganda for their political existence. Naidu does not have any achievements to his credit, while Jagan Mohan Reddy never lost people’s trust, he said.
On Pawan Kalyan calling on Naidu, he said it seems like the film star was consoling the TDP chief.
MLCs Ummareddy Venkateswarulu, Lella Appi Reddy, and Bapatla MP Nandigama Suresh cut a cake in the presence of party leaders and activists.
