CM hailed for regularising VRAs’ services

Minister for Prohibition and Excise V Srinivas Goud has lauded Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao for providing an opportunity for the VRAs to lead a dignified life in Telangana, which is unprecedented in the country.

He distributed VRAs reallotment letters at a programme held at Mini-Silparamam here on Thursday.

He asked the VRAs who were absorbed into various government departments to work with dedication. He recalled that the State government merged the RTC employees with the government.

Devarakadra MLA Aala Venkateswar Reddy said that the VRAs belonging to the district were absorbed into various government departments in the district. He appealed to the VRS to render good services to the people.

District Collector G Ravi Naik said that based on the educational qualifications of VRAs, aged 61 years and less, they would be appointed as junior assistants, record assistants, office subordinates and so on.

The services of those who worked as junior panchayat secretaries for over four years are being regularised. Out of 38, 34 JPSs, services are being regularised in the district.
