Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu convened a meeting with Nadir Godrej, Chairman of Godrej Industries, at his residence in Undavalli on Thursday.
Following the meeting, the Chief Minister shared an update on social media, stating, “I had a productive discussion with a delegation from Godrej Industries, led by Chairman & Managing Director, Mr Nadir Godrej, today. We explored various issues and potential investment opportunities in Andhra Pradesh. Key topics included the adoption of the National Mission on Edible Oils – Oil Palm (NMEO-OP), support for shrimp feed Basic Customs Duty (BCD), and Oil Palm cultivation. Additionally, we discussed potential investments in Amaravati and Visakhapatnam, including an INR 2,800 crore project for pesticide manufacturing. We also considered opportunities in agriculture, aquaculture, and real estate to strengthen Andhra Pradesh’s economy.”
