Members of State Vishwa Brahman Purohits Parishad met with Government Advisor Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy in Tadepalli under the chairmanship of Andhra Pradesh Vishwa Brahmana Corporation Chairman Toleti Srikanth on Thursday.
On the occasion, Sajjala said that the State government has issued orders to appropriately identify the temples of Pothuluri Veerabrahmendra-swamy.
The government has issued instructions to the Endowments department officials to take steps to identify Pothuluri Veerabrahmendra-swamy temples in the State as per GO No 665.
In fact, there are temples of Pothuluri Veerabrahmendra-swamy in many districts across the State. Many of these temples are in deep crisis due to lack of funds. The issue was taken to the notice of Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy by the members of the Vishwa Brahmin Purohit Parishad and the Vishwa Brahman Sanghis through Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy.
Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy informed that the issue of these orders is proof that Chief Minister YS Jagan is very positive towards the problems of Vishwa Brahmins. He informed that Chief Minister Jagan will always take keen interest in solving the problems of BCs. He said that to benefit them, the CM will tell the authorities to amend if necessary.
Vishwa Brahmins Corporation Chairman Toleti Srikanth said that the devotees of Pothuluri Veerabrahmendraswamy across the State are grateful to the CM. He expressed happiness that with the decision taken by the Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, the temples of Swami which were built by devotees across the State in the past will see the lost glory.
Vedic scholars and members of the Vishwa Brahman purohits together presented a portrait of Potuluri Veerabrahmendraswamy. A petition was handed over to Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy by the State VishwaBrahman Purohita Parishad on some religious issues.
