Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu reaffirmed his government’s commitment to employment generation, industrial development, and social welfare. At a public event organised to mark the May Day celebrations on Thursday in Nellurupalem, Atmakur constituency, he launched several initiatives aimed at supporting workers, entrepreneurs, and marginalised communities.

Virtually inaugurating 10 MSME parks, including one at Narampeta, the Chief Minister announced that work on the long-pending Dagadarthi Airport would commence shortly. As part of a broader vision to develop all 175 constituencies into entrepreneurial hubs, he pledged to establish 175 MSME parks, generating 20 lakh jobs across Andhra Pradesh.

“Anyone can come forward to set up a factory,” Naidu said. “The government will provide infrastructure, electricity, and sheds. As we once developed Hyderabad, we are now building Amaravati into a global capital.” In the first phase, 40 MSME parks will be developed with investments exceeding Rs 2,000 crore, targeting 15,000 units by 2027–28.
