Chief Minister Revanth Reddy went to New Delhi on Tuesday to participate in the BC Unions Maha Dharna at Jantar Mantar on Wednesday.
BC Ministers Konda Surekha, Ponnam Prabhakar and BC MLAs and MLCs Adi Srinivas, Beerla Ilaiah, Vakiti Srihari, Makkan Singh Raj Takur, Prakash Goud, Erlapalli Shankaraiah and MLC TPCC Chief B. Mahesh Kumar Goud and others went to New Delhi to take part in the same dharna.
Congress sources said the Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha (LOP), Rahul Gandhi, would also participate in the dharna.
The objective of the dharna is that Parliament should approve the Telangana Assembly passed Bill providing 42 per cent BC reservations in political appointments, education and employment.
After the maha dharna, Telangana Ministers would meet Union Ministers and the leaders of various political parties seeking their support for the 42 per cent BC Reservation Bill get Parliament approval.
