Chief Minister Revanth Reddy on Monday invited the Osaka Chambers of Commerce to invest in the state, presenting a sweeping vision of Telangana’s growth in sectors like circular economy, urban infrastructure, green energy, IT, pharmaceuticals, and the development of the Future City.
Addressing a gathering of business leaders during the World Expo in Osaka, the Chief Minister called for deep and future-driven Indo-Japanese partnerships.
“KonniChiwa, Namaskaram,” Revanth began, greeting in both Japanese and Telugu. “We are here not just to showcase our state, but to build long-term partnerships that will empower people and design the future,” he said.
Highlighting Telangana’s investor-friendly ecosystem, the CM said the state offers policy stability, ease of doing business and world-class infrastructure.
“Hyderabad is home to many successful Japanese firms. We welcome many more to manufacture in Telangana and make it their base for the Indian market and global exports.”
The TelanganaRising delegation pitched a wide range of projects, including the 370-km Regional Ring Road, Metro Rail expansion, Musi River rejuvenation, and the establishment of a Net Zero Future City spread over 30,000 acres, being developed in collaboration with Japan’s Marubeni Corporation.
Industries Minister D. Sridhar Babu underlined the state’s commitment to a partnership-based investment model.
“We don’t just offer policies, we offer partnerships. Telangana is building the Future City as India’s first Net Zero industrial city, with smart mobility and green energy,” he said.
He added that the zone between the ORR and the upcoming RRR is being developed as a dedicated base for companies dealing in EVs, semiconductors and aerospace products, supported by a dry port with sea-link connectivity.
