Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu held discussions with a Japanese delegation led by Ambassador Keiichi Ono in Amaravati, exploring opportunities to enhance collaboration and investment in the State.
During the meeting, the Chief Minister stressed the long-standing relationship between Andhra Pradesh and Japan, highlighting the successful Japanese business ecosystem in Sri City. This ecosystem, he noted, has played a crucial role in attracting several Japanese firms to the region.
The discussions centred around potential areas for cooperation, including shipbuilding, electronics, chemicals, automobiles, auto components, and education. The Chief Minister also outlined plans to collaborate with prominent Japanese developers to establish a dedicated SME (Small and Medium Enterprises) Park near Sri City, aiming to further strengthen industrial growth and bilateral ties.
