CM opens projects worth Rs 36 cr at Simhadripuram

On the second day of his three-day tour of YSR district, Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy inaugurated several development works worth Rs 36.03 crore at Simhadripuram near here on Sunday.
The Chief Minister launched the Rs 11.6-crore road widening and beautification works, Rs 5.5-crore YSR Park developed in 1.5 acres, newly-built police station worth Rs 2 crore, Rs 3.19-crore Tahsildar Office, Rs 3.16-crore MPDO office and other projects including the modernised Simhadri Junction.
He also attended the YSRCP local leaders’ meeting.
Earlier, Jagan visited the YSR Ghat at Idupulapaya and garlanded the statue of his father and former Chief Minister Dr YS Rajasekhara Reddy.
He also paid floral tributes at the Samadhi.
Besides holding a meeting with the YSRCP leaders in Pulivendula mandal, Jagan, along with his mother YS Vijayamma and wife YS Bharathi Reddy, participated in the Christmas prayers held at the prayer hall at Idupulapaya.
YSR district in-charge Minister A Suresh, MP YS Avinash Reddy, District Collector V Vijaya Rama Raju and local people’s representatives also participated in the programme.
