CM reviews Hyd infra projects, sets deadline for Mir Alam Bridge

Chief Minister Revanth Reddy reviewed infrastructure projects in Hyderabad on Saturday. Senior officials of the Municipal Administration and Urban Development (MA & UD) department and the GHMC attended the meeting.
During the meeting, the Chief Minister focused on the construction of a bridge over Mir Alam Lake. He asked officials to finalize the Detailed Project Report (DPR) within 90 days and submit it to the government.
Emphasizing the importance of the project, he directed that the bridge should be completed within 30 months and ensure that it becomes a tourist attraction. “The bridge’s surroundings should be planned by keeping children in mind, making it a family-friendly destination,” he said.
Officials presented three proposals for the construction of the bridge, which will span 2.425 km. The Chief Minister reviewed these proposals and stressed the need for a well-planned approach.
