Telugu Desam Party (TDP) national general secretary, Nara Lokesh, on Sunday said that Chief Minister, Jagan Mohan Reddy, is afraid of people and moves in public places behind the curtains. On the 10th day of ‘padayatra’, on Sunday, Lokesh said that CM Jagan is scared of the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI).

“What is the fun of organising the ‘Naadu-Nedu’ programme when there are no basic facilities in the schools and other educational institutions?” he asked.

Lokesh dared the Chief Minister to come for an open debate as to who is behind several companies setting up their units in the State and who chased the companies out of the State.

Responding to the appeals of paramedics, Lokesh said that the Jagan Mohan Reddy government is completely ignoring the health sector and miserably failed in utilising the services of the paramedics in rural areas.

Lokesh had an interaction with the local Muslims where the community representatives narrated their woes. Reacting to it Lokesh assured them that such illegal cases will be lifted within months of the TDP coming back to power. He said that it is the TDP that encouraged Muslims politically when NT Rama Rao was the chief minister of the State.

There is no allocation of funds for the Minority Corporation after Jagan Mohan Reddy came to power and the self-employment scheme too is completely neglected. The Dulhan scheme, Ramzan Thofa, and Overseas Education schemes too have been discontinued.

He said that if the police file false cases they will have to face the consequences once the TDP is back in the government, Lokesh said.

Lokesh made it clear that he will personally take the responsibility to encourage Muslims politically and once the TDP is back in power all the welfare schemes will be revived.
