A meeting of the Congress Legislature Party (CLP) will be held on Sunday under the leadership of Chief Minister Revanth Reddy.
TPCC President B. Mahesh Kumar Goud, AICC State in-charge General Secretary Deepa Das Munshi, AICC in-charge Secretaries Vishwanathan and Vishnunath and other leaders
will attend the CLP meeting as guests.
It is learnt that the CLP meeting would discuss the implementation of welfare schemes besides strengthening the party from the booth level in view of the local body elections.
The party would also discuss how to ensure the victory of Congress candidates in local body elections by appointing new committees from the village level. The CLP would also discuss how to take government schemes to the people effectively. It would also discuss the coordination of leaders at various levels.
It is learnt that the party would make MPs, MLAs and MLCs responsible for finalizing candidates for local body elections. The CLP would discuss and prepare an action plan to win more posts of ZP Chairman, ZPTCs, MPTCs, Sarpanchs etc.
