Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu is set to launch several projects and lay foundation stones for new institutions in Sri City on August 19 (Monday). During his visit, the Chief Minister will inaugurate operations for 15 organisations and lay the foundation stones for the establishment of seven additional institutions.
As per the schedule, Chief Minister Naidu will depart from his residence in Undavalli at 10 am and arrive at Tirupati Airport by 11.30 am. From there, he will travel to Sri City by helicopter. The CM is expected to launch multiple projects and initiate the operations of 15 organisations. Additionally, he will lay the foundation stones for seven more institutions.
Officials have stated that these developments are expected to generate employment opportunities for 2,740 people, with an investment of Rs 900 crore. The Andhra Pradesh state government will also sign agreements with four leading companies for an additional investment of Rs 1,213 crore. Later, the Chief Minister will meet with the CEOs of various companies at the Sri City Business Centre.
Following his visit to Sri City, Chief Minister Naidu will visit the Somasila irrigation project in the Nellore district before returning in the evening.
