CM to release water from Brahmana Vellamla project

Minister for R and B Komatireddy Venkat Reddy on Saturday prayed to the deity of Jadala Ramalingeswara Swamy temple at Cheruvugattu in Narkatpalli mandal of the district wishing that the people of Telangana lead a happy, healthy and prosperous life with good agricultural prospects.
Participating as the chief guest at the Kalyanotsavam of the deity, the Minister said that the water from Brahmana Vellamla project would be released by CM A Revanth Reddy for the crops in three months. In the first phase, water would be released to wet 60,000 acres. The same day, the CM would hold a review meeting.
The State government would take steps to complete the remainder of the Brahmana Vellamla, SLBC and Dindi projects in future. The people’s government would resolve the people’s problems so that the people would hold the government close to their chests, he said.
He assured the gathering that he would initiate measures for development of second ghat road to the Cheruvugattu village and amenities for providing shelter to the devotees.
He asked the temple authorities to make all arrangements for the devotees thronging the temple for the Kalyanotsavam during the next four days. He asked the authorities to allow the devotees to fulfill their vows to the deity. Huge LED screens have been installed to enable the devotees witness the celebrations of the deity.
He asked the devotees to park their vehicles at the designated parking places and reach the temple. He appealed to them to cooperate with the police authorities.
