During an interaction with the representatives of the Water Users Association of Sunnipenta in the Nandyal district, the Chief Minister also committed to transforming Srisailam into a renowned pilgrimage centre. “It is my responsibility to promote Srisailam as a divine centre,” Chandrababu Naidu stated.
The Chief Minister emphasised that adequate water supply can create wealth, generating significant revenue for the government. This, he added, will ultimately contribute to eradicating poverty. He stressed the need to create a poverty-free society and promised to develop the State. “We will generate revenue for the State and distribute the wealth to the poor, extending all kinds of welfare to all sections of people,” the CM assured. He pledged to ensure the equitable distribution of wealth generated by his government to the underprivileged.
Highlighting the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) Government’s commitment to social justice, the Chief Minister remarked, “I am here to raise awareness that water availability leads to wealth generation. Without water, the State will turn into a desert. Generating wealth is key to alleviating poverty,” he added.
The Chief Minister expressed his aspiration for the youth from every corner of the State, including Srisailam, to work in global cities like New York. Reflecting on the development of Hyderabad as a global city, Chandrababu Naidu noted that he, along with Deputy Chief Minister, Pawan Kalyan, and Prime Minister Narendra Modi, are committed to propelling the nation to the top position in the world and the State to the leading position in the country.
Referring to the Supreme Court’s favourable order on Thursday regarding the categorization of Scheduled Castes (SCs), Chandrababu Naidu reiterated that social justice is a cornerstone policy of the NDA. “I introduced the SC categorization into A, B, C, and D categories after forming the Ramachandra Rao Commission in 1996-97,” he said.
