Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has reiterated his vision of transforming the State into a global knowledge hub, driven by advancements in IT, Artificial Intelligence (AI), and DeepTech.
Addressing the DeepTech/ GovTech Innovation Conclave 2024, Naidu credited the Telugu community for their pivotal role in the global IT sector.
“Over 30% of India’s IT professionals abroad are Telugu, and one in four IT experts globally is Indian,” Naidu noted, emphasising the state’s immense potential in the knowledge economy. He urged stakeholders to collaborate and leverage emerging technologies to propel Andhra Pradesh towards becoming a “Swarnandhra” by 2047.
The Chief Minister unveiled the Swarna Andhra Vision-2047, a comprehensive roadmap aiming for zero poverty, a 15% annual growth rate, and enhanced employment opportunities through DeepTech initiatives. The vision incorporates a Public-Private-People-Partnership (P4) model to drive sustainable development.
Highlighting the importance of integrating AI and smart technologies across sectors like agriculture, healthcare, and logistics, Naidu advocated for innovations such as precision agriculture and zero-budget natural farming. “DeepTech will shape the future and provide employment for our youth,” he stated.
Naidu also launched two key publications, Forging the Blueprint for Swarna Andhra & Transforming India to Viksit Bharat and AI For Everyone. He reaffirmed his commitment to fostering entrepreneurship with the slogan, “One family, one entrepreneur,” and stressed the need for globally recognised educational institutions to upskill the state’s youth.
