State Information and Public Relations and Housing Minister and district in-charge, Kolusu Parthasarathi, stated that Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu is taking necessary steps to create 20 lakh job opportunities for the youth. On Monday, the Minister visited Kotha Gollapalem village in Chinnaganjam Mandal, Bapatla district, to inspect arrangements for the CM’s visit on April 1. He was accompanied by Revenue Minister Anagani Sathya Prasad and Energy Minister Gottipati Ravi Kumar.
Minister Kolusu Parthasarathi said that the state government distributes NTR Bharosa pensions to 64 lakh beneficiaries every month on the 1st. The pensions were increased from Rs 3,000 to Rs 4,000 in the very month the government assumed office, fulfilling the Chief Minister’s election promise. “In contrast, the previous government took five years to raise pensions by just Rs 1,000,” he added.
He further stated that CM Chandrababu Naidu is taking steps to increase the per capita income of every individual in the state. “The Chief Minister is also working towards transforming every household into an entrepreneurial unit,” he noted.
Speaking on the government’s development initiatives, the Minister highlighted that despite the enormous debts inherited from the previous government, the current administration is consistently implementing welfare and development schemes without any hindrance. “We are successfully running the Super Six schemes,” he added. He also expressed confidence in the success of the Chief Minister’s tour, underscoring its significance for the development of the region.
Parchur MLA Eluru Sambasivarao, Chirala MLA MM Kondayya, Bapatla MLA V Narendra Varma, District Collector J Venkata Murali, District SP Tushar Dudi, Joint Collector Prakhar Jain, and other officials were present.
