Coalition Govt in AP is a failure: YS Jagan

Coalition gave impractical promises during elections and is now going back on them

YSRCP president and former Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has criticised the coalition government for failing to fulfil the poll promises in the name of Super Six and Super Seven, and said that times will change for good in the days to come.
Addressing party district leaders on the first day of his Pulivendula tour on Tuesday, he said the coalition government has given impractical promises during elections and is now going back on them, which shows the character of the ruling dispensation. “We are in a position to go to any house and proudly tell the welfare activities we have taken up, but Chandrababu Naidu has no ground to speak as he could not fulfil any of the promises he made during elections,” he said.
Giving a confidence boost to the cadre, he said that the present phase will not last long. “We should all work unitedly as we had done much good during our term while Chandrababu Naidu has assumed office by giving promises which he cannot keep. We have changed the order of throwing a manifesto into the dustbin and had honoured all the promises made in it and given more welfare than promised.
“There is a possibility of early election in 2027 going by the One Nation One Election (ONOE) and we will bounce back to power as people are vexed with the coalition government’s deception and our good work stands out,” Jagan said.
On the occasion, he was told about the atrocities of the coalition government on party cadre and leaders, and how TDP leaders are trying to wield power though they do not have a majority in the Corporation. The former Chief Minister said that people will realise it as they are always with the people and stand by the word they have given.
“On December 27, we will be protesting against the hike in power tariff and on January 3, against the failure of fees reimbursement,” he said. MP Avinash Reddy, Amjad Basha and Kadapa Mayor Suresh Babu were among those who attended the meeting.
