After a break, winter is back in Telangana. A strong cold spell is likely in Telangana from January 6 to 10.“From January 6 to 10, due to strong northerly cold winds, there will be a drop in temperature. North and West Telangana will see temperatures of 7°C to 9°C and other areas will witness temperatures of 10°C to 15°C. Hyderabad will also see temperatures of up to 10°C to 15°C from January 6 to 11,” weather buff Balaji said.
From January 5 to 6 there will be dense fog and cloudy weather in many places. Isolated light rains can be expected at one or two places on January 5.Almost 50 per cent of India was covered by dense fog on Thursday. Many areas of Telangana in the North and Central zones and the outskirts of Hyderabad city will see dense fog.
The minimum temperature is likely to hover around 12°C to 13°C on the city’s outskirts and 15°C to 16°C inside the city in the next seven days.“The temperatures in the North and Central districts of the State will fall by 3°C to 4°C,” the TSDPS said.
