Collect every penny due to govt : Bhatti

Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka advised the officials of various departments to focus on mobilisation of additional funds. A review was conducted on mobilisation of additional resources with the senior officials of industries, mines, underground resources, housing corporation, housing board, HMDA and TSIIC departments along with Special Chief Secretary of State Finance Department Ramakrishna Rao at the Secretariat on Wednesday.
On this occasion, the pending dues to the government by the respective departments were discussed. They discussed the land sales done so far under the industries, TSIIC and HMDA departments, the revenue collected by the State government through land sales, the outstanding funds that are yet to be received and the plan prepared by the respective departments for collecting the outstanding funds.
Speaking on the occasion, Bhatti suggested that activities should be created and funds should be collected to recover the pending dues. The officials of the respective departments were asked to take the responsibility of collecting every penny due to the State government. He ordered to take all measures to bring industrial parks into use. The government has allocated 325 acres for Tupran Industrial Park and 139 acres have been handed over so far, he asked to collect the rest of the land.
He enquired about the sources of revenue to the government from the joint ventures under the Industries Department.

The officials were directed to provide a comprehensive report in this regard. Officials explained that out of 12 joint venture projects undertaken under the auspices of the
Housing Board, six projects have been completed.
Government was supposed to get Rs 955 crore from this project, but Rs 430 crore has been received.
The officials of the Housing Board briefed the Minister about the action plan designed to
collect the remaining Rs 525 crore dues. The rest of the lands were identified and ordered to be protected.
The mining authorities were inquired about the pending royalty income. Officials of that department have been ordered to prepare proposals on income.
He said that there should be no shortage of sand. Mahesh Dutt Ekka, Principal Secretary, Mines and Mineral Resources Department, Haritha, Finance Secretary, Industries Department Director Rahman, Housing Corporation MD Vijayendra Boi, Housing Board MD Madhusudan Reddy and other officials participated in this meeting.
