District Collector Jitesh V Patil made a surprise inspection of Mata Shishu Arogya Kendra in Ramavaram on Tuesday.
On the occasion, he visited the outpatient block, post-operative ward, children’s outpatient ward, Aarogya Mitra, medicine room, post-natal ward and reception.
After examining the records in the hospital, the Collector advised the authorities concerned to record the details of each patient. He spoke to the patients at the Mata Shishu Preservation Center and inquired about services being provided in the hospital.
The Collector advised the doctors to be punctual for duty. After inquiring about the number of births per month in Mata and Shishu Hospital, the Collector directed the doctors to take measures to increase the number of delieveries in government hospitals and ensure that more births take place in government hospitals. The officials were directed to submit reports regarding the required facilities in the health center and the work to be undertaken.
