Collector dons roll of teacher, teaches math concept  

He is the District Collector. The administrative duties keep him always busy. However, during a surprise inspection of a government school, the Collector donned the role of a teacher and taught lessons to students.  
District Colletor Rahul Raj on Wednesday made a surprise visit to Shankaram Peta Zilla Parishad high school and check whether the teachers were punctual to duties. The Collector has been making surprise checks time and again and keeping the officials on their toes.
During his visit to the school, Rahul raj taught mathematics concept to students of Class 10 and asked them questions.  He interacted with the students to understand the problems being faced by them and then donned the role of a teacher, explaining lessons. The joy among the students knows bounds.  Later, he spoke to the media, mentioning that attendance at the school was quite low. He revealed that students indicated they were coming from very far-off places.
The students also mentioned that there are hostels nearby. It was found that attendance in the hostels was also low. The Collector stated that he would ask the officials concerned to visit the school to understand the reasons for the low attendance. He noted that the students at this school have working memory issues. He discussed this with the teachers, who assured him that they would tackle in next two months.
The teachers promised to show improvement in maths, social studies, and science. They mentioned they would create a special plan for improvement.
The Collector instructed teachers to provide quality education to students.
