Collector inspects EVM godown

East Godavari district Collector P Prasanthi here on Wednesday inspected the godown where Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) were preserved.
Collector Prashanthi informed that the EVM inspection was carried out on Wednesday as part of the routine inspections as per the orders of the Central Election Commission.
The Collector, along with RDO R Krishna Nayak, inspected the EVM godown. The Collector examined the CCTV cameras installed as part of EVM security and the CCTV footage.
She inquired about the details of the police security shift at the EVM godown and then signed the register. Representatives of political parties, and the officials accompanied the Collector during her inspection.
