Rangareddy District Collector K Shashanka conducted a surprise inspection at the social welfare hostel in Ibrahimpatnam constituency on Monday night. He also stayed overnight in the hostel to assess the conditions firsthand. He conducted a thorough review of the hostel, examining the quality of food, cleanliness, and the overall facilities provided to students, including the condition of the toilets and kitchen.
During his stay, Collector Shashanka tasted the food served to the students and engaged in conversations with them about the management of the hostel. He expressed satisfaction with the conditions and advised the students to report any issues to the mandal-level officials for resolution.
The Collector further inquired about any problems the students might face, encouraging them to take full advantage of the government-provided facilities and focus on their studies.
Deputy Director of Social Welfare Rama Rao, Multi-Zone Officer Rajani, Principal Varodini, and Assistant Social Welfare Officer Venkat were present during the inspection.
