Collector visits election material distribution centre

District Election Officer and Collector K Shashanka, along with General Election Observers Rajender Kumar Kataria, visited the distribution centres set up for the Lok Sabha election in Chevella Assembly Constituency.
Inspecting the distribution centre at Bandari Srinivas Institute in Gollapally Village under Chevella mandal, the Collector ensured the smooth distribution of election materials. Facilities such as drinking water, medical camps, breakfast, dining facilities, and others were checked for proper arrangement.
The Collector verified the presence of all teams, including POs, APOs, and OPOs, and observed the demonstration of EVM functioning. He stressed the importance of providing polling materials without shortages or confusion, and instructed officers to monitor the transportation of polling personnel and police personnel to ensure they reach designated polling stations on time.
Accompanied by Additional District Collector Pratima Singh, Assistant Returning Officer Sairam, and other officials, the Collector urged Returning Officers to report any issues encountered during the process.
