Commissioner inspects steps for Dasara Sarannavaratri

In preparation for the upcoming Dasara Sarannavaratri festivities, NTR District Police Commissioner SV Rajasekhar Babu, along with officials from Sri Durga Malleswara Swamy Varla Devasthanam, inspected the security arrangements, queue lines, and parking areas. He provided necessary instructions to the temple officials and police.
His visit began at the Vinayaka Temple and continued to Canal Road, Ghat Road, Kanaka Durga Nagar, and other areas, including the Durga Temple atop Indrakeeladri.
Speaking on the occasion, Rajasekhar Babu mentioned that coordinating with all departments they are working towards a successful and grand celebration. He emphasised ensuring hassle-free darshan for devotees. Adequate security arrangements will be provided in the temple’s surrounding areas, queue lines, holding points, bathing ghats, parking areas, and Prasadam counters, he added.
Rajasekhar Babu assured that the devotees will be able to have darshan in a peaceful atmosphere without any trouble, as the Police Department is making all necessary arrangements in coordination with other departments.
The inspection was conducted in the presence of Durga Temple Executive Officer KS Rama Rao,
EE L Rama Devi, DCPs Gowthami Sali and T Harikrishna, ACP Dr B Ravi Kiran, and others.
