Communists accused of ‘conspiring’ to destroy Hinduism

Must read

In a strong condemnation, Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) Kshetra Pramukh for Telangana and Andhra Pradesh Bandaru Ramesh accused Communists of conspiring to destroy Hinduism in India while acting as proxies for China and Russia. These remarks were made during a significant rally organized by the VHP in Shadnagar town, Rangareddy district, to protest against the alleged persecution of Hindus in Bangladesh.
The rally, which saw the participation of leaders from Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Hindu Vahini, Bajrang Dal, Akhila Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP), and various other organizations, began at the local railway station and proceeded to the Tehsildar’s office, where a memorandum was submitted to the government. The participants expressed their outrage over the recent attacks on Hindus in Bangladesh and demanded immediate action to protect Hindu communities both in India and abroad.
Addressing the media after the rally, Bandaru Ramesh stated that communists, who are insignificant in the 52 minority countries worldwide, are conspiring within India to undermine Hinduism. He alleged that certain countries are providing financial support to these efforts, specifically targeting Hindu Dharma. Ramesh emphasized that communism has no presence in minority-dominated countries, and its influence in India is being used to suppress Hinduism. He called upon Hindus to unite and protect their religion from these perceived threats, warning of dire consequences if Hindu Dharma is not defended.
Nelli Srivardhan Reddy, a member of the BJP’s state executive, issued a stern warning to what he termed “Islamic extremists,” stating that their actions would no longer be tolerated. He condemned the attacks on Hindus in Bangladesh and Pakistan, asserting that Muslims in India, who constitute 20 percent of the population, should also denounce these atrocities. He questioned why Hindus, who respect other religions, are being targeted abroad, and urged a global response to the situation in Bangladesh.
Echoing these sentiments, BJP state executive member Ande Babaiah labeled the attacks on Hindus in Bangladesh as “evil deeds.” He stressed the urgency for the global Hindu community to unite against these atrocities, particularly in light of the violence being inflicted upon women and children. He warned that if such attacks continue unchecked, similar incidents could occur in India, and called for widespread condemnation.
The rally in Shadnagar was marked by a strong sense of solidarity among the participants, with leaders such as Chitel Venkatesh, Malchala Murali, Vamsi Bhushan, Math Rishikesh, and Putnala Sai joining the call for justice and protection of Hindu communities.
