COMPENSATION FOR ASSIGNED LANDS Govt will pay on par with patta lands: CM

The government will compensate the owners of assigned lands on par with the owners of patta lands during land acquisition, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy said. The CM said that he had given clear directions to officials regarding this. Revanth said that the setting up of industries will become easy if people cooperate to acquire land. The CM said that the state would lose if people did not cooperate. Addressing the media at his residence in Kodangal after voting in the Mahbubnagar Local Bodies MLC by-election on Thursday, Revanth said that the people of Kodangal are with him in every trouble he faces. “It is my responsibility to develop this region (Kodangal) as it did a lot for me. The cement industry is coming to this region soon. Although there are huge lime mines in this area companies did not come due to the negligence of previous rulers. Land values will increase in this region if industries are set up. If pharma companies come to our area employment opportunities will increase,” the CM said. Revanth said that one of his eyes would be on Kodangal wherever he may be and that he will protect the people of Kodangal. He said that he wants the people of Kodangal to be well and the area to develop. “No matter how big a leader I am, I am a member of the Kodangal family. The people should provide a majority of 50,000 for the Mahbubnagar Congress LS candidate from Kodangal,” he said.The CM said that a coordinating committee of five would be appointed at the mandal, booth and constituency levels. He said that he would come back on April 8 and that he would meet the coordination committees of all mandals.“Let’s develop our region.
