Complete arrangements for Inter exams, Collector tells officials

District Collector A Thameem Ansariya has directed officials to complete the arrangements for the Intermediate examinations at the earliest.
A training programme was organised on Sunday at the AKVK Degree College campus for Chief Superintendents, department officials, custodians, Additional Chief Superintendents, and squads.
Addressing the officials, the Collector emphasised their crucial role in ensuring the smooth conduct of the examinations. She instructed the Chief Superintendents to have a thorough understanding of their respective examination centres and oversee all necessary arrangements to prevent any issues.
She stressed that conducting the examinations should not be taken lightly, as it is an annual responsibility that must be carried out diligently. Students should be allowed into the examination centres only after thorough checks, and mobile phones or other electronic devices should be strictly prohibited. She directed officials to ensure foolproof arrangements for inspections while treating students appropriately.
The Collector made it clear that Chief Superintendents are responsible for maintaining a peaceful and orderly atmosphere at the examination centres. Staff deployed at sensitive centres must remain vigilant, and any negligence that brings disrepute to the district administration would invite strict action, she warned.
She also instructed officials to visit the examination centres in advance for better preparedness. She clarified that there is no requirement for the college principal’s signature on students’ hall tickets.
Further, she warned private college managements against pressuring students to clear pending college or mess fee payments to obtain hall tickets. Students can also download their hall tickets free of cost through WhatsApp, she informed.
Intermediate Examinations Special Officer I. Srinivasa Rao and Control Officer V.V. Subba Rao were among those present at the training programme.
