All India Congress Committee (AICC) observer for Lok Sabha constituencies Rangarajan Mohan Kumar Mangalam on Thursday exuded confidence that the Congress party would win all seats in the undivided Mahabunagar district.
Addressing the media at the Congress party office here, he said that Sonia Gandhi granted statehood to Telangana to fulfil people’s aspirations.
He expressed concern over the family rule in Telangana. He said that the BRS and BJP are two sides of the same coin. He referred to Enforcement Directorate interrogating BRS MLC K Kavita in the Delhi liquor case.
DCC president G Madhusudhan Reddy said that a protest would be staged at the District Congress office at 2 pm on Aug 19 to highlight the repressive measures adopted by the government. He condemned the registration of cases against TPCC president A Revanth Reddy.
TPCC election propaganda committee chairman Madhu Yashki Goud, vice-chairman Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy, leaders Ponnam Prabhakar and Mahesh Goud and others would take part in the protest programme.
TPCC vice presidents O Kotwal and Jangaiah Yadav, general secretary Sanjiv Mudiraj and others were present on the occasion.
