Cong conspiring to paint BRS in bad light: Jagadish

Must read

Former Energy Minister and Suryapeta MLA G Jagadish Reddy has accused Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy of giving priority to hatching conspiracies against the BRS rather than running the administration of the state.
He was participating in the Rytu Deeksha protest programme staged by the BRS here on Saturday.
Addressing participants, he pointed to the Chief Minister’s criticism of the Kaleshwaram project and said it was part of the conspiracy to paint the BRS in a bad light. No Congress Minister, including Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy, spoke on crop loss which pushed farmers into distress.
Witnessing the great calamity unfolding in front of his eyes, braving scorching sun, BRS supremo K Chandrashekar Rao set out to console the farmers in distress. The Chief Minister, however, ordered the entire machinery to ensure success of IPL. Two ministers for undivided Mahabubnagar district have been looting the states, he alleged. They have been resorting to collection of funds from contractors and rice millers by threatening them. The Chief Minister has no time to take care of people’s issues except doing rounds of Delhi with money bags to pay tributes to the party elders in Delhi, he alleged.
What happened to the implementation of promises of the crop loan waiver and payment of Rs 500 as bonus per quintal of paddy procured, he said putting a straight question to Revanth Reddy.
Taking advantage of the Election code of conduct, the state government has been trying to avoid payment of bonus to paddy, he alleged.
If the state government is sincere to resolve the farmers’ issue, it should immediately implement the loan waiver and pay Rs 500 bonus to the paddy, he said.

If Revanth Reddy were to address a letter to the EC seeking permission to implement the two schemes, the BRS would support the CM and address a letter to the EC, he said.
