Lashing out at the Congress Government, BRS MLC Kavitha declared that it had failed to complete even 16 meaningful projects during its 16-month rule.
Meanwhile, as preparations for the BRS Silver Jubilee public meeting on April 27 at Elkathurthi reached the final stage, Kavitha visited the venue and reviewed the arrangements.
Addressing a press conference after that, she warned Congress leaders bluntly, “Khabbardar! Your deceitful nature has been exposed. People now know your true face.”
“It is the pink flag that has stood as the true shield of Telangana’s people, and it will continue to do so,” he added.
Slamming the Congress approach, Kavitha said, “BRS leaders want Telangana to prosper. The Congress and BJP leaders, however, are only ‘after’ votes and are trying to ‘divide’ society to win elections.”
She also blasted those questioning the need for a silver jubilee celebration for the BRS. “Some are mocking the event. But let me tell you. The BRS became a national party to serve the entire nation. Evolution is natural. The transformation from TRS to BRS reflects people’s desire for an evolution,” she said.
Reacting to Congress’s promises, she said, “They said women would be given Rs 2,500, one tola gold, and scooters. What happened? Women were cheated. Every betrayed woman should come to Elkathurthi. KCR laid the foundation for women’s empowerment. He provided reservations for them in municipalities and market committees. Degree colleges with hostels for BCs, SCs and ST girls were provided in all districts.”
