Cong govt unleashes ‘police raj’ against people: Kavitha

Bharat Rashtra Samithi MLC Kalwakuntla Kavita on Thursday wondered if the government is unleashing a “police raj” against people. She accused the Congress government of foisting false cases on the BRS workers. Speaking here, she warned that BRS would not keep silent if false cases were foisted on the BRS party workers. She predicted that the present regime would not last long. If the Congress leaders continuce to show a vindictive attitude, the people will revolt against the Congress regime.
She visited BRS sarpanch Gangareddy of Habsipur who was lodged in Jagityal jail.
Speaking on the occasion, she alleged that Congress has been misusing power.
The Congress made unimplementable promises to people and subjected them to harassment. The BRS would face the Congress conspiracies politically and legally.
Referring to the police dragging a university student by her hair, she said and added that such brutality never took place in Telangana earlier.
Kavita said that the BRS would protect its workers and the party would stand by party activists and leaders.
