‘Cong leaders planning to loot Rs 50,000 cr through LRS’

The Union Minister of State for Home Affairs, Bandi Sanjay Kumar, said that Congress leaders have devised a scheme to loot Rs 50,000 crore in the name of the Layout Regularisation Scheme (LRS).
He urged people not to pay any money for LRS, reminding them that during the last elections, Congress leaders had promised to regularise lands free once they came to power.
He asked why the Congress is now trying to collect money despite their promise not to do so.
Sanjay released video clips of statements made by the current Chief Minister and then-PCC president Revanth Reddy, Bhatti Vikramarka, Uttam Kumar Reddy and Seethakka during the 2023 Assembly elections.
He demanded that the Congress should fulfil its promise to implement LRS free of cost.  Otherwise, he warned that the government would be forced to comply due to public pressure.
