Congress MPs staged a protest in front of the Ambedkar statue at the New Delhi Telangana Bhavan on Tuesday demanding immediate help for flood victims. They demanded that the BRS government should help the farmers and people who were affected by the floods. MPs A. Revanth Reddy and Komatireddy Venkat Reddy took part in the protest.

Speaking on the occasion, Revanth suggested that KCR should come to New Delhi with an all-party delegation, submit a report on flood damage and ask Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah for funds.

Revanth warned that they will stall Parliament in case the Centre fails to help Telangana by giving funds for flood relief. He said that KCR has been going to Maharashtra and inducting leaders into BRS instead of visiting flood-hit areas in TS.

He asked BRS MPs why they were coming to Parliament and said that KCR should reveal whether it is appropriate to engage in politicking in Maharashtra when Telangana farmers were facing problems. He said that KCR has been politicking in Maharashtra with the money of the Telangana people.

Revanth asked KCR to pay Rs 20 lakh as ex-gratia to the kin of those who died in the floods. He also demanded that the government should pay Rs 20,000 per acre as ex-gratia to those who lost their crops.
