BRS MLA Harish Rao said that Congress is attempting to lure BRS MLAs into their fold. He said, “We are witnessing attempts to target BRS MLAs using intelligence and phone tapping”.
In a development in the ongoing ED raids at the residence of Gudem Mahipal Reddy and his brother Madhusudan Reddy, Harish Rao said,
“The central and state governments are targeting opposition leaders, including opposition legislators”.
He said, “Authorities found no illegal cash or gold in Mahipal Reddy’s residence. His IT returns are reportedly clear and without discrepancies. Despite this, questions arise: why these raids? These raids seem aimed at intimidating opposition legislators,” Harish remarked, hinting at political motivations behind the actions.
“Similar instances of unjust cases have been filed by the Congress government in states like Bihar and Gujarat to coerce opposition legislators into switching parties. Why do the ED and IT conduct no raids when leaks occur in question papers? Why not target officials responsible for conducting exams?”, Harish asked
“Congress is attempting to lure BRS MLAs into their fold. We are witnessing attempts to target BRS MLAs using intelligence and phone tapping”.
“Authorities have raided Mahipal Reddy and his family with full cooperation. They have provided records and papers and have not made any mistakes. No assets were found in his house. We have trust in the legal system:, he said..
