The Congress assured in its Hyderabad Youth Declaration that it will pay Rs 25,000 per month to the families of Telangana Martyrs. The Congress will also issue ID cards to Telangana activists and will withdraw the cases against them immediately after coming to power. The Congress will also pay Rs 4,000 per month to all unemployed individuals.
AICC General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi released the Hyderabad Youth Declaration at the Yuva Sangarshana Sabha held at Saroor Nagar Grounds on Monday.
TPCC President Revanth Reddy revealed the points mentioned in the Hyderabad Youth Declaration.
He said that the Congress will give two lakh jobs to youth in the very first year after coming to power in Telangana. The Congress government will release a job calendar and will fill up vacant posts in government service every year. Appointments will be done by the TSPSC in the same way the UPSC does it.
Revanth said the Congress will make Telangana free of unemployment by bringing a Centralised Line Policy and will provide training classes for students and the unemployed.
He said the Congress will bring an Act to provide 75 per cent of jobs to locals in companies and will help Telangana youth through the Youth Commission. The Congress will provide interest-free loans of Rs 10 lakh and will help those working in the Gulf through a special Act. The Congress will take steps to ensure that no one is cheated by agents, he said.
He said the Congress will reimburse the fees of SC, ST, BC and EWS students and will establish universities in Adilabad, Khammam and Medak districts. He said that they will also set up four IIT-type institutes in the state like IIIT Basara.
Revanth said that the Congress will establish special universities in Warangal and Hyderabad for the children of police and RTC employees and provide them free education.
He said the Congress will also give electric scooties to girl students as part of its women empowerment programme.
Describing Priyanka Gandhi as the new Indiramma, Revanth said that Telangana is getting thousands of crores as revenue due to the kindness of Indiramma.
