The Congress is ready to expose the BRS’s corrupt deals while executing the Kaleshwaram project in the Assembly a day before the BRS is organising a meeting in Nalgonda protesting against the handing over of irrigation projects to the KRMB. The Congress government will try to establish that it did not hand over irrigation projects on the Krishna River, but the BRS is raking up the issue to divert public attention from the corruption that took place in the Kaleshwaram project.
The Congress government has prepared a white paper based on the report submitted by Vigilance and Enforcement. With that, the Congress government is going to make the corruption that took place in the Kaleshwaram project public on Monday in the House. Aiming to ridicule the BRS’s Nalgonda public meeting being held in the name of the ‘Congress government handing over Krishna projects to the Centre,’ the Congress government will expose the corruption in irrigation projects and the condition of the projects, particularly the Kaleshwaram project.                                                            The Congress government has released white papers on Telangana’s finances and the power sector. Now the Congress government is going to release a white paper on the Irrigation Department on February 12, that is, on Monday. Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and Irrigation Minister N. Uttam Kumar Reddy organised a meeting of all Congress MLAs in the Praja Bhavan. Uttam gave a PowerPoint presentation to the MLAs attending the meeting. He explained to the MLAs how corruption took place while executing the Kaleshwaram project. He also explained how the Medigadda Barrage’s pillars sank and the present condition of the Annaram project.
