Cong to honour seniors with party positions

Congress party has decided to give organizational positions to the leaders who have been in the party since 2017 onwards. This decision indicates that the seniors in the party will get positions.

However, this decision was taken in the Observers meeting held at Gandhi Bhavan on Wednesday under the leadership of AICC in-charge Meenakshi Natarajan. The meeting focused on the cleansing of the TPCC comprehensively. The meeting prepared an action plan to appoint the party executive committees from village leval to state level.

The TPCC gave a three-step task to the observers. As per the tasks, the district-level meetings would be held from April 25 to April 30. The party has to invite black, mandal presidents, MPs, MLAs, MLCs, contested candidates, AICC, PCC office bearers, district-level senior leaders for these meetings.

In the second task, the observers would conduct Assembly and black level meetings from May 4 to 10th, and in Task 3, they would conduct mandal level meetings from May 13 to 20th.

Speaking on this occasion, Meenakshi Natarajan said that the campaign of the party ideology and strengthening the party organization should be done at the village level. The party leadership should work sincerely and seriously in this regard. The high command decided that the party’s organizational construction should be done as per the Gujarat Model. The leaders should take the party ideology to the people in a big way. The leaders should get ready for the ideological fight. The leaders should take the Congress government’s revolutionary programs to the people extensively, she said.

TPCC Chief B Mahesh Kumar Goud said that the observers should work sincerely and complete their work effectively. He said that the coordinators are performing their responsibilities well.
