Giving the Congress the much-needed push to take on the ruling BRS,Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has launched a scathing attack on Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao at a huge public meeting held at Khammamm on Sunday. Enthused by the fillip that the Congress is getting from the new joinings of key leaders of the state, the Congress leader said that KCR and Modi are hand in glove with each other and that the Prime Minister has been controlling the BRS chief with remote control and that is the reason that BRS has become subservient to BRS. Rahul’s public meeting became more significant for Congress with the joining of Ponguleti and others.

Former AICC president Rahul Gandhi said that Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao changed the name of TRS to BRS which means ‘BJP Risthedar Samithi.’
He said that Prime Minister Modi and Central agencies know about KCR’s scams. The BRS became the B-Team of the BJP due to scams, Rahul pointed out. KCR’s remote control is in the hands of Prime Minister Modi and so KCR has been supporting Modi. Modi has blessed KCR’s corruption, Rahul said.
Addressing the mammoth ‘Telangana Jana Garjana’ public meeting in Khammam on Sunday, Rahul said that the BRS functioned as the B-Team of the BJP in Parliament. Congress opposed the Farmers’ Bill, but the BRS extended its support, Rahul said.
He said that farmers and Adivasis supported the Congress in Karnataka and the same will take place in Telangana too. Everybody thought that there would be a triangular fight in Telangana, but the BJP has lost its address in Telangana. Now the fight is between the Congress and the BRS, he said.In fact, we made it clear that we will not attend if BRS attends opposition meetings. We made it clear that we will not sit together with the BRS,” Rahul said.
The Congress is fighting in Parliament against the BJP. The Congress opposed the Farmers’ Bill, but the BRS supported the bill, Rahul said.
He said that KCR thinks that he is the king of Telangana and that Telangana is his jagir. KCR has been taking lands given by Indira Gandhi to the poor forcibly These lands do not belong to KCR but they belong to the poor, Rahul said.
He said that KCR is engaged in indiscriminate corruption. KCR is responsible for embezzling Rs 1000 billion through the Kaleshwaram Project. He looted thousands of crores through Mission Bhagiratha, Rahul said.
“I learnt from the people during the Bharat Jodo Yatra how KCR is engaged in corruption through the Dharani Portal. KCR has been deceiving all sections of people,” Rahul said.
