Extending Christmas greetings to Christian brothers and sisters, TPCC Chief B. Mahesh Kumar Goud said the ties between Christians and the Congress is an indivisible one. He said that Christians supported the Congress during the Assembly elections.
Participating in the Christmas celebrations at the Gandhi Bhavan on Wednesday, Mahesh said the Congress is a party that stands by all religions.
The TPCC chief said the Congress government will construct Christian Bhavan within three years. He said that he would try to solve any problems facing Christians.
He said the Congress would not remain silent if anyone whips up passions using religion and plays politics using it.
Former Union Minister JD Seelam, SC Corporation Chairman N. Preetham, TGIIC chairperson Nirmala Jagga Reddy, BC Corporation Chairman Nuthi Srikanth Goud, former MLC Rajeshwar Rao and DCC President Shankar Naik attended the programme.
