TPCC Senior Vice-President and Chairman, Election Commission Coordination Committee G Niranjan has stated that Lord Srirama’s DNA is in the Congress. Ravana’s DNA is in the BJP, Niranjan alleged, commenting that the Congress is having Bharat’s DNA which accepts all regions, castes, languages and communities. While speaking to the media on Friday at Gandhi Bhavan, Niranjan slammed BJP saying that all feuds and vices there in Ravana exist in the BJP. He said that the BJP does not even have the right to pronounce Rama’s name.
Niranjan said that Rama is a great humanitarian with full of virtues and questioned ‘Does
the BJP have a single virtue?” He said that Lord Rama was born on Sri Rama Navami which occurs on April 17 and questioned the BJP to tell instead of installing the idol of Sri Rama on April 17, why is the installation programme planned on January 22? Niranjan said that is it because the Lok Sabha elections are scheduled to be held in the month of March? Moreover, they are taking up this programme without the completion of the temple construction work. Is it a ruse to gain advantage in the elections?” he asked.
He said that Vibhishan surrendered to Lord Rama and Rama made him the king of Lanka. When a question was posed to Rama, what would you have done to Ravana if he had surrendered to him. Then Rama replied that he would have made him the king of Ayodhya. He said that such was Rama’s generosity and broad mindedness. Is there any such generosity in the BJP? he asked, saying that G Kishan Reddy is ineligible for the Union ministerial post. He said that Kishan Reddy is acting differently from the oath he took to
act without prejudice and hatred. Niranjan said that the Congress strongly condemns
the comment of Kishan Reddy that the Congress is having anti-Hindu DNA. Does the Congress become an anti Hindu party just because Sonia Gandhi and Mallikarjun Kharge expressed their inability to accept the invitation? he asked. Making it clear that Hindutva is in Congress’ DNA, another TPCC senior vice president Mallu Ravi said that
the Congress is not against any
religion.
