Congress having ‘mock fight’ with BRS: Kishan Reddy

Must read

Union Tourism Minister and BJP State unit president G Kishan Reddy on Friday said that the people had voted for the Congress party because they were angry with the former Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao. He expressed the opinion that it was not the Congress victory but was defeat for the BRS.
While addressing the
Rashtra Padadhikaris meeting on Friday at the State BJP office, Kishan Reddy said that
change in the style of governance cannot be expected following the replacement of the
BRS government with that of the Congress government.
He said that Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy made a host of charges against the BRS
ahead of the Assembly elections and assured the voters that the Congress would dig out the corruption during the previous regime. But, Revanth Reddy failed to take the follow-up
action, he said. The Congress has been staging a mock fight with the BRS, he felt.
The Union Minister said, “There is a need to conduct a probe into the land transactions that took place around the Hyderabad Outer Ring Road when KCR was CM, however, I don’t think that the Congress will order a probe.
The people are not in a position to believe in Congress government. The people would
cast their vote for BJP in the upcoming Parliament elections. The BJP will win a majority of seats in the Lok Sabha elections”.
Telangana BJP president called upon the youth, farmers and farmworkers to join the
BJP in a big way. He said that there is no need for BRS in Telangana in present conditions and there is no need for the people to cast their vote for the BRS party in the coming Parliament elections.
