Congress leaders, workers urged ensure party’s victory

Minister for Transport Ponnam Prabhakar on Friday appealed to Congress party leaders and workers to ensure that the party wrests majority of Lok Sabha seats.
Addressing them at Alaganur here on Friday, Prabhakar said that the sitting Lok Sabha member Bandi Sanjay did not visit villages in the constituency to gain the first-hand knowledge of their problems ever since he was elected MP.
Further, he said that the Congress will procure the kharif crops by extending Rs 500 bonus per quintal.
The free bus travel facility was extended to women, he said.
Further, he alleged that Bandi Sanjay has been resorting to histrionics in the name of the deity. He failed to bring at least a rupee to the Vemulawada, Kondagattu and Dharmapuri shrines under the Centre’s Prasaad scheme.
In cricket parlance, he said that the BRS was duck out in the recent Assembly elections. Therefore, the Congress will lock horns with the BJP In the ensuing LS polls.

He objected to Modi saying no remorse on receiving the corrupt money as donations through electoral bonds.
